Med sine tre "App modes" til "podcasting", "music production" eller "location recording" kan Zoom H8 hurtigt optage op til 10 kanalers lyd. De forskellige "App modes" indstiller Zoom H8 til lige netop det du skal optage. Samtidig er den kompatibel med en række mikrofon kapsler (medfølger ikke) så du er sikker på at have den rigtige mikrofon til opgaven.

Ligesom andre produkter fra Zoom H-serien kan man holde optageren i hånden, montere den på et mikrofonstativ, trefod eller montere den på et kamera. Med sine mange funktioner i en relativ lille enhed, er H8 klar til at møde de skiftende krav fra podcastere, musik producere, musikere og mange andre. Det medfølgede software, Cubase LE og WaveLab Cast, giver dig værktøjerne til at redigere, finpudse, exportere og uploade dine projekter.
